Curriculum

Academics

MAI offers the full GCE ‘O’ level suite of subjects, including pure sciences and Additional Mathematics in addition to the Islamic Studies curriculum. Our broad-based curriculum allows our graduates to progress in the fields of their choice not just in the academic pathways but the ukhrawi track as well.

The GCE provides and encourages student-centred and enquiry-based approaches to learning. It also develops skills in creative thinking, giving our students excellent preparation for higher-level courses such as the GCE ‘A’, polytechnic diploma as well as other progression routes.

Over a course of 4 or 5 years, students will sit for a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 9 subjects, from 6 broad subject groups.
