Faculty

The teaching staff at MAI are made up of a team of Singaporean educators who have, between them, over 70 years of teaching experience in MOE schools, and a team of asatizah who are the pillars and anchor staff of MAI. Together, they lead the way to ensure a rich and stimulating Islamic-academic learning environment for all Arabians.

MAI teachers are passionate about encouraging a love for learning in Arabians and take, as their personal mission, to bring success to every Arabian that they are entrusted with, with a larger vision of creating a new generation of highly successful madrasah graduates.

Alumni

Juzhurul Arabiah (JARI) is made up of a group of alumni from Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah (MAI), which was formed in mid 2014. Juzhurul Arabiah is an Arabic phrase which translates to ‘Roots of Arabiah’. JARI was established to function as a community outreach platform for the alumni of Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah, to get together and contribute back to the Madrasah and the community.

JARI’s first community outreach programme was conducted with Darul Ihsan Orphanage in 2015. The residents of the orphanage were given the opportunity to appreciate the inventions of the Muslim Scientists from the Golden Age through interactive games and activities.

In addition, JARI has organized two Ramadhan Reach-Out (RRO) programmes in 2014 and 2015. RRO’s main objective is to share happiness and to bring joy to the underprivileged in the blessed month of Ramadan, as well as to instil the spirit of sharing among members of JARI.

JARI has also organized an Alumni Reunion in 2015, where many generations of MAI alumni came together to reminisce the memory of their learning journey in MAI.

JARI will continue to organize such programmes in the future, in the hopes of becoming a valuable asset to MAI and the community, InsyAllah.

In October 2020, MAI conducted an exercise for their Alumni who had studied in Hillside Drive, Jalan Selamat, 17/17A Lor 13 Geylang & 1 Lor 6 Toa Payoh, to update their information with the Madrasah. InsyAllah, MAI will continue to foster ukhuwwah fillah with its beloved Alumni.
